Its been all go round here this week.

No rest or peace for Nora.
Steam pouring from the gaps round the edges of the rambling shed.
However a fantastic weekend awaits us near the south coast at a wonderful and eccentric friend's wedding.
Hurrah for wonderful and eccentric friends.

But back to the point.
In between the deadlines, afore mentioned steam and some slightly colourful language
Nora has been busy.

Busy busy busy planning and a plotting things for your very delight.
Some are still embryonic, some are more or less sorted and some are ready to announce.

So with out further ado...
Flaming Nora's Secret Sewing club is proud to present:
"Get to know your Sewing machine's inner secrets"
Let Nora take the strain out of getting to know your sewing machine.
Bring it along for a cup of tea and a suggestive biscuit
on Saturday 19 th June.
We will be learning the basic machine techniques, as well as a simple decorative project using machine appliqué.
This will be done by making and decorating a simple cotton tote bag.
The class will start at 11am and finish at 4, with a break for lunch.
The cost is £35 with a £5 discount for early booking (before 15th May)
Places are limited so please book early.
No previous sewing experience is necessary but you do have to have a sewing machine on the day.
Venue t.b.c when I know definite numbers, but will be local to SW16.

To book please e-mail or leave a message at the end of this post.

This week I am also very excited to say that I have been asked to take part in the Streatham Festival running workshops for both adults and children. More on this to follow soon, when the details have been finalized.
There will also be another kids sewing workshop on Thurs 3rd June, again more details to follow.
And so off to bed, its late and tomorrow is another big day.
